About MPD

Michael Parrish DuDell is a writer, speaker, and entrepreneur. As the founder of race + vine—a marketing consulting firm—Michael specializes in connecting businesses with consumers in more authentic and meaningful ways through content marketing, Millennial engagement, and thought leadership.

Previously, Michael served as the managing editor of The Domino Project—a publishing company started by marketing guru Seth Godin and powered by Amazon.com. In its yearlong lifecycle, The Domino Project published twelve books, all of which became bestsellers, and redefined the way books are created, published, and shared.

Prior to starting race + vine, Michael was the editor of ecomagination.com—GE’s cleantech and sustainable innovation website. During his tenure, Michael oversaw the development of hundreds of pieces of original content, from full-length editorial features to branded videos. While at ecomagination, Michael also hosted GE’s Green Room LIVE—a bi-monthly video web series featuring the best and the brightest in sustainable innovation.

Michael is an award-winning speaker and specializes in issues related to business, media, and Millennial culture. He has spoken for and consulted with companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500s, including American Express, L’Oreal, Visa, Kraft, and many more. Michael is a member of the Young Entrepreneur Council and an advisor to numerous companies, including New York Tech MeetUp—the largest tech organization in New York.

Michael’s writing has been featured in a variety of publications both print and digital, including the Huffington Post’s Business section where he is a regular contributor. His popular TEDx speech on meaningful work was the inspiration for his first book, Lessons for the Restless Achiever, which will be published in early 2013.

Outside of the office, Michael works closely with a wide range of social organizations. He is a One Young World Ambassador, an active participant in Big Brothers Big Sisters, and member of UNICEF’s Next Generation—a group of young professionals dedicated to ending child mortality. When not traveling, Michael resides in New York City.
